B.G.S B.Ed. College, Mysuru  ensures quality teacher education program with ardent effort supported by high-level facilities of laboratories, library with adequate number of books in Kannada and English medium, individual classrooms, big auditorium to exhibit curricular and co-curricular talent to our teacher trainees, adequate sports materials, spacious playground, Information Communication Technology laboratory, computer laboratory to improve the technical skill, audio-visual room to use multimedia to enrich the cognitive status, rooms for principal, faculty, office and store, separate cloak rooms, drinking water facilities are the part of our infrastructure.

Library

Books are chief instruments of education and library is center of intellectual life so the B.G.S. B.Ed. College Mysore is proud of good and comprehensive central library with most modern facilities catering to the academic needs of the students and teaching community. To know the current affairs of both academic and general aspects our institution is providing various encyclopedias, national and international journals, magazines, periodicals, news papers, collection of articles, audio-visual CDs and DVDs,     project reports of the students and various syllabus and also general issues are maintained in the library for reference. As of till date our library have 4,628 books, subscribed to 07 educational  journals, 150 encyclopedia, 50 Reference Books and seating capacity of 100.

Practical experience in laboratories

Our institution is focusing on the need of teacher educators as well as student-teachers skills like handling and setting apparatus, conducting, experiments, relating theoretical aspects to practical results etc, by providing suitable laboratory which helps them in attaining instrumental skills. The management is also bound to improve the laboratory facilities from time to time by progressively adding all such instruments and equipments which contribute to the richness and verity. We have well equipped psychology, science, geography, language and computer laboratories.

Psychology Laboratory

Psychology plays a vital role in B.Ed. curriculum. It provides a platform to gain the knowledge of experiencing the abstract theoretical aspects.

Science Laboratory

We have exclusive, spacious and well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography to meet extracurricular requirements and to perform & demonstrate the experiments prescribed for B.Ed., teacher trainees. Highly qualified and experienced faculty gives hands on guidance to the students to make use of facilities. Science laboratories have been provided with working table and demonstration tables with cupboards, selves, well equipped with water and gas fittings.

Computer Laboratory

Computer knowledge gives ample scope for employment opportunities. The computer laboratory is well equipped with latest upgraded software & each teacher trainee is given an opportunity to inculcate skills on operating, handling and utilizing computer in classroom teaching.

Language Laboratory

Our college have well equipped language laboratory to develop soft skills like listening, speaking, reading and writing (L, S, R, W). It helps the teacher trainees to get the knowledge about language learning disabilities among secondary school students.

Our institution has organized many sub-committees to conduct several relevant activities which are responsible in developing positive attitude, leadership qualities and many more personality development activities like
